About Me

In the short but beautiful Minnesota Spring, Summer and Fall I can often be found in the garden.  I love to do it all! Getting my hands dirty, planting, transplanting, pruning, deadheading, fertilizing, and fighting the deer and the bunnies all the while!  When I am not doing that, I am playing a fierce game of Pickleball and competing in tournaments…one of my secret goals is to play in the US Open for 60 and over!  But, above both of these favorite endeavors is spending time with my kids and my grandkids. A source of never-ending laughter and love.

After 14 years in the real estate business, I have found that my favorite part of working in real estate has been staging the homes of our listing clients!  I have always loved the “before and after” effect, which is so dramatic in home staging. This service has been one that our clients found so exciting, and provided me the most joy in my work!  So I decided to bring my specialty public and offer it outside and separate from my real estate clients!

I have owned many homes of my own over the years (10!) an this ability to remake my  own homes accumulated nearly $1,000,000 in equity. Later, I had the experience of restoring 10 older homes in my business “Home Again Restoration”.  Home Again allowed me to understand the expense, effort and time involved in each decision made to change or improve a home. Those lessons learned taught me the importance of “less is more”.    Lastly, I worked as a full time Realtor with Coldwell Banker Burnett in Wayzata Minnesota and as a real estate agent I earned my certification in home staging and was able to put it to use over 14 years of working with listings to increase their sale price, and reduce their time on market.  I have staged homes in the million dollar range, as well as those the $200,000 range and loved working with the owners on all of them! Coming back for the re-check to see my recommendations put into effect was always an exciting day!
